Shepherds pie - RM 1/5/2024

INGREDIENTS:**
g Potatoes, old, raw, flesh only
g Tomatoes, canned, whole contents
g Worcestershire sauce
g Tomato puree
g Lamb mince 20% fat (Tesco) (HCP added*)
g Carrots, old, raw
g Cheese, cheddar (HCP added*)
g Onions, raw
Directions:
Finely chop carrots and onions
In a pan, add the lamb mince along with the carrots and onions
Cook on medium hear until lamb is browned (the fat from the lamb will aid the cooking, so oil is not needed)
Add tinned tomatoes, Worcestershire sauce and tomato puree, season with a pinch dried herbs
Cook on low till the carrots are tender, then transfer to an oven proof dish
Boil potatoes and mash
Top the lamb mixture with the mashed potatoes
Add grated cheese on top
Bake in the oven at 180 for 15 minutes
