Sausage casserole - EY 17/10/22

INGREDIENTS:**
g Sausages, pork, The Black Farmer (HCP added*)
g Tesco finest orzo pasta (HCP added*)
g Carrots, old, raw
ml Knorr vegetable stock pot 100mls prepared (HCP added*)
g Garlic Puree (GIA) (HCP added*)
g Oil, olive
g Cabbage, average, raw
g Spring onions, bulbs and tops, raw
Directions:
1) Dice the carrot and boil for a few minutes until tender.
2) Fry the sausages (child size portion) until cooked in the oil then set to one side.
3) Fry the chopped onion and garlic paste in the same pan.
4) Add the cabbage* and stock and cook until tender.
5) Cook orzo according to pack instructions
6) Put the orzo, carrot and sausage back in and cook for a minute.
* 12g peas (weigh frozen) or 40g broccoli (weigh raw) can be used instead of cabbage alternatively.
