Strawberry ice-cream EY 29.09.22

INGREDIENTS:**
ml Aldi double cream (HCP added*)
ml K.Quik (HCP added*)
g Sweetener, liquid, Hermesetas (HCP added*)
g Strawberries, raw
Directions:
1. Whip double cream and gradually add K.Quik
2. Fold in sweetener. Mash strawberries and add to bowl
3. Divide evenly into a freezer-safe container with lid and put in freezer
4. Mix after 30mins, repeat 4-5 times
5. Once frozen, weigh and divide evenly into 10 individual portions
Serve follow ice-cream following savoury food.
Savoury food should include a portion of protein (e.g. Black Farmers sausage / chipolatas, chicken, fish, bacon, beef, egg, hard cheese...) +/- a child's palm size portion of a 'free food' (see below):
Celery, chicory, cucumber, lettuce, spring onion, watercress, mustard and cress, radishes,tomatoes, aubergine, asparagus, french and runner beans, beansprouts, broccoli, brussel sprouts, cabbage, cauliflower, Chinese leaves, courgettes, endive, kale, leek, marrow, mushrooms, okra, olives, onions, red and green peppers, spinach, spring greens, celeriac, sugar snap peas or mange tout
Note: It does not matter if the 'free food' is not eaten.
