2:1 lentil bolognese - RL 4/10/23

INGREDIENTS:**
 g Lentils, red, split, dried, boiled in unsalted water
 g Onions, raw
 g Tomatoes, canned, whole contents
 g Oil, olive
 g Cheese, Cheddar, English
 g Carrots, old, raw
 g Mixed herbs, dried

Directions:

Boil lentils till tender with a slight bite
finely chop onions and carrot
add oil to a pan and when hot add onions and carrot
saute till tender
add tomato sauce and a pinch of dried herbs. 
Bring to a boil and cook on low for 5 minutes
Add cooked lentils and cook for another 5 minutes
If it's too thick, add some water. If too thin, let it cook down
Serve, topped with grated cheese
