2:1 Chicken pie -SC 29/1/24

INGREDIENTS:**
 g Butter, salted
 g Chicken, light meat, raw
 ml Fresh double cream tesco (HCP added*)
 g Carrots, old, boiled in unsalted water
 g Potatoes, old, boiled in unsalted water, flesh only
 g Oil, vegetable, average
 g Stock cubes, chicken
 g Peas, frozen, raw
 g Mixed herbs, dried

Directions:

  1. Dice the chicken and carrot. Fry in a pan with the oil, peas, crumbled stock cube and some water until chicken is cooked through
  2. Stir in double cream and a pinch of dried herbs
  3. Boil potatoes until tender
  4. Add chicken and veg mixture to an oven proof dish
  5. Top with mashed potato
  6. Bake in a pre-heated over at 180 degrees C for 5-10 minutes until the top is golden
