turkey haslet/ scotch egg

Description:
easy to make
great in a lunch box or buffet and great for a birthday party.

Ingredients:
 g KetoCal 4:1 Powder (Unflavoured)
 g Spring onions, bulbs and tops, raw
 g Mushrooms, white, raw
 g Bacon rashers, back, raw
 g Turkey, mince, stewed
 g Oil, olive
 g Eggs, chicken, whole, raw
 g Eggs, quail, whole, raw

Directions:


1 finely chop spring onion, mushroom and bacon and add to the minced turkey add ketocal powder and the beaten egg, mix to combine. season to taste salt and pepper.
2.(add pinch of dried sage or basil)
3 hard boil the quail's eggs, cool then peel.
4 divide the turkey into 2 and wrap around the quail's egg,
5 fry in the olive oil over a med low heat turning till fully cooked,
6 you can bake these in the oven 170oc for 10/15 minuets. 
7. this recipe is low in carb so serve with salad, cucumber for a lunch box or eat hot with keto fries or roasted veg,
