Brussels sprouts with bacon and chestnuts

Description:
Great vegetable dish to serve with a Christmas dinner.
Make ahead and freeze until needed.

Ingredients:
 g Brussels sprouts, raw
 g Bacon rashers, streaky, raw
 g Chestnuts, kernel only, raw
 g Butter, salted
 ml MCT Oil

Directions:


1, Chop the bacon into small pieces, shred the sprouts with a sharp knife, and chop the chestnuts into small pieces
2. In a frying pan, over med/low heat add the MCT oil and butter. Once melted, add the bacon and sprouts and cook for 8-10 minutes until the sprouts are tender.
3. Now add the chopped chestnuts and stir to warm.
4. Serve hot or allow to cool before freezing until needed.
5. To re-heat, allow to defrost and microwave for 2 minutes on high.
