Almond Florentines

Description: almond biscuits are easy to make and great for snacks/lunchboxes and great for Christmas 

Ingredients:
 g Almonds, flaked (HCP added*)
 g Sweetener, Truvia (HCP added*)
 g KetoCal 3:1 Powder
 g Chocolate dark - Green and Blacks 85%
 g Oil, coconut

Directions:

1 in a pan melt the butter and add the syrup and the sweetener once melted add the flaked almonds and ketocal remover from the heat and stir well to combine 
2 line a muffin tin with cupcake cases and spoon a teaspoon of the mixture into each case
3 bake at 170oc for 12/15 minutes they should be golden and they will look soft but they will harden up as they cool
4 once cooled remover from the cases and place upside down on a board
5 melt the coconut oil and chocolate in a microwave then brush over each of the the cookies, allow the chocolate to set then store in a air tight container until needed.
