meringue

Description: meringues are easy to make 
great for batch cooking 
use them to make desserts 

Ingredients:
 g Eggs, chicken, white, raw
 g hoosiel hill farm icing sweetener
 g Lemon juice, fresh

Directions:

1 in a clean grease free bowl whisk the egg whites and lemon juice until soft peaks 
2 add spoons of the sweetener still whisking until all the sweetener has been added and the meringues are still peaks (when you take the whisk out they will hold there shape)
3 line a baking sheet with baking paper and spoon the meringue or pipe onto the tray
4 place in a 160oc oven for 20minutes then turn the heat off but leave the tray in the oven over night to allow the meringues to dry out  
5store in an air tight tin or you can freeze the meringues
