turkey chilli

Description: main meal serve with slim rice or nachos 

Ingredients:
 g Chilli powder
 g Tomato Puree (GIA) - sun dried (HCP added*)
 g Garlic puree
 g Tomatoes, canned, whole contents
 g Turkey, mince, stewed
 g Spring onions, bulbs and tops, raw
 g Peppers, capsicum, green, raw
 g Mushrooms, white, raw
 g Ground cumin, tesco (HCP added*)
 g Coriander seeds
 g Lentils, green and brown, whole, dried, boiled in unsalted water
 g Butter, unsalted
 ml MCT Oil

Directions:

1 grate the mushrooms then chop the spring onion and pepper into small pieces 
2 in a frying pan heat the butter and mct oil over med heat once hot add the turkey mince and spices fry for 2 minutes 
3 add the mushrooms onions and peppers and fry until tender 
4 add the garlic, tomato puree, lentils and fry for 2 minutes then add the tinned tomatoes 
5 simmer for 5 minutes and season to taste with alt and pepper at this stage you can add some water to add more sauce to the chilli 
6 serve hot or cool and freeze until needed
